About
NeoTiler combines drag-to-edge snapping with workspace save/restore and per-app auto snap rules. Define default positions for apps at launch, save favorite layouts, and use keyboard shortcuts for quick access. Built natively with SwiftUI. One-time purchase with no subscription.
Who It's For
NeoTiler is for users who want snap-based window management with per-app position memory baked in. Its standout feature is auto snap rules: you define a default position for each app, and whenever that app launches, NeoTiler automatically places it there. This is particularly useful for consistent multi-window setups — your email always opens in the right half, your terminal always opens bottom-left — without any manual arrangement after launch. At $5.99, it's a reasonably priced native SwiftUI tool with no subscription.
How It Works
NeoTiler registers for drag-to-snap events at screen edges and corners, and also provides keyboard shortcuts for common positions. The workspace save/restore feature lets you snapshot a complete window arrangement by name and recall it later — useful for context-switching between tasks. Auto snap rules are configured per-app: you specify an application and a snap position, and NeoTiler applies it automatically each time the app opens. The app is built natively in SwiftUI and runs entirely locally.
Compared to Similar Tools
Compared to Rectangle (free), NeoTiler adds per-app auto snap rules and workspace save/restore that Rectangle lacks. Compared to Moom ($10), NeoTiler costs less and automates per-app placement; Moom has a more sophisticated multi-action workflow builder and the visual grid overlay. For users who primarily want consistent app placement at launch without manual arrangement, NeoTiler's auto snap rules provide a meaningful convenience that the simpler snap tools don't offer.
